Fireside - Changes to our rewards
Hello ZIMBOCASH friends
We're making progress.
After last week’s launch, we have been working hard to enable your wallet to make and receive payments on the ZASH blockchain.
Our team have tested it and it is looking so very cool. You’re going to love it.
This process will take a few days because it is the most important part of what we are doing. We need to test thoroughly.
We will be opening it up to our regional leaders for testing, and then to the broader ambassador team. Finally, we will open it up to the ZIMBOCASH community. Exciting, isn't it?
Before all this, we have needed to analyse our subscriber list. We engaged a team of data analysts who have thoroughly reviewed the information. It turns out we’ve got a fair amount of spam that we need to clean up. Because of this, we are making several changes.
- Deleting spam accounts
We’re going to deduct the referrals that have been allocated to people for bogus sign-ups. All the ambassadors that have more than 30% bogus sign-ups, will lose their ambassador rewards.
- Only active referrals are rewarded
Going forward, people will only be able to get referral rewards when the people who they referred make their first ZASH transfer. We want to reward you for bringing people who will actually use ZIMBOCASH to make payments.
- Your previous ZASH rewards
For your previous balances, you will only get your additional rewards when your referrals transact.
You will get additional ZASH when each of your referrals make their first payment.
We want people who have referred others to be prosperous – but only for valid referrals. Please only refer people who will actually use ZIMBOCASH and add value to the network.
- Blockchain balances
Your wallet will no longer show you the breakdown of your various rewards. All your transactions and balance information will be stored on the public blockchain which you will be able to view.
We won’t keep a record of your balance or your transactions on our database.
- Ambassador reward
The ambassador rewards will be coming to an end. The 10% referral rewards will continue to apply.
We will be reworking the ambassador program and will keep you posted.
There is so much on the go
We will send further fireside chats to keep you posted on some of the questions that are being asked, including:
- How does exchange listing work and when will we be enabling transfers to the exchange.
- Know Your Customer regulations and what detail we will require of you.
- USSD solutions to enable all Zimbabweans to sign-up and transact even if they have feature phones.
- Our next Roadshows around Zimbabwe.
- Closure of Whatsapp groups and moving to telegram.
Watch out for con artists
Lastly, it seems that we’ve got a following of con artists trying to scam people of their ZASH. Watch out for fake accounts and for people approaching you directly on Telegram or on other groups. Admins will never approach you first (plus they have an admin badge next to their name on the group). We will never ask you for your money.
Please do join our official telegram group t.me/zimbocash and follow us on twitter: twitter.com/zimbocash
Haven’t signed up yet?
If you haven’t yet signed up, you can do so on our website www.zitenga.com. You’ll receive 3125 ZASH but hurry because allocations halve at the end of June.
You’ll also get 10% extra for every person who signs up and makes transactions and a further 0.1% extra for each unique person who clicks your link.
We’ll keep you posted on the next steps for full payments – this is more work than any of us imagined and as we take this step, we’re creating history. ZIMBOCASH will be the first transactional on-the-ground sound-money system for all Zimbabweans.
Thank you
The ZIMBOCASH Team
